WHY WE HAVE ORIENTATION
The Orientation process is designed to afford perspective students an opportunity
to become familiar with the basic techniques, philosophies, and scientific principals
of Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do.
Important information needed in order for you to make a decision to enroll or not to
enroll in one of our programs will be gained. You need to know that you will be able
to succeed in the new program of your choice and that our staff of instructors will
become your support team as long as you relay on their experience to guide you.
WHO TO HAVE WITH YOU
Often the person scheduling the orientation is unable to make a decision to enroll because they need a parent, husband/wife or girlfriend/boyfriend to help with the
decision or to help with the final commitment. Frequently the wife/husband or
teenager goes home and tries to sell their parent or spouse on the benefits of a
program we have just spent nearly one and one half hours breaking down and
explaining. Now the perspective student attempts to pass on this information.
It becomes acutely distorted and is at best very confusing to the person they are
trying to convince. Less then 3 of what they were told gets accurately transferred
to the parent, spouse, etc. Subsequently we lose a valuable student and you lose
your opportunity to join class.
BOTH APPOINTMENTS CLOSE TOGETHER
Students completing their two private classes within three days have a 92 enromentrate. Orientation customers taking longer then one weekdip to an enrollment rate of just under 13. It doesn't work in the best interest of either you the customer or for us the studio. Every one's situation is different and unique both socially and economically.
IN SUMMARY

2. A parent or both parents if needed that can make the decision and enroll their child must attend the orientations.
